Reading:
How many of you have seen Index listed at the bottom of a table of contents and skipped right by it? For so long, I would ignore the index in a nonfiction book until I realized how helpful it was for me as a reader. Today, I am going to teach you how to use the index properly! Watch how I do it.
Now it’s your turn. Practice in your own nonfiction books. See if it is helpful for you as a reader!
Writing:
Today’s writing lesson is just like yesterday’s lesson. Your job is to finish drafting your fourth chapter while making sure you are writing in complete sentences.
A complete sentence has...
A noun (person, place, or thing)
A verb (an action word that tells "what" is happening)
Has a capital letter at the beginning.
Has punctuation at the end.
