Fundations letter board: practice all the letters saying the letter, keyword(picture), sound

Vowel Extension chart: practice extending the short vowel sound

Writing consonant-vowel-consonant words: Write some of the following words in a creative way: map, pet, fig, fog, tub, rag, quit, box, bed, fun

• Example of creative ways: use a stick in the dirt, chalk, rocks, paint with water on the sidewalk, paint inside, etc to make the word

• Bonus: write your own words

Take a picture and post it on your child's Flipgrid or email it to your child's teacher.

Lesson 4: Introduction- state opinion

• Write opinions using opinion words

• Note: Keep this writing in a safe space to use in future lessons.

Today you will write an INTRODUCTION sentence using your opinion words from the anchor chart. For example: Swimming is my topic and my introductory sentence will say... I believe swimming is the best sport.
