Lesson: Writers form an opinion and think about what their favorite dessert or treat is. They also think about reasons to support their opinion.
Writers will fill out "My Writing Plan" paper on "What is your favorite dessert or treat? Explain why it is your favorite."
First, state your opinion in the first box. Then, provide three detailed reasons. Finally, restate your opinion in the conclusion box.
