Make sure you make your characters come to life by making them talk, telling how they feel, sharing what they think, and using action words. Sketch a picture to go with your story. Do not color your picture. Just a quick sketch.

An adaptation is a special skill which helps an animal to survive and do everything it needs to do.
This week, we have focused on different animal adaptations. You are familiar with these adaptations: camouflage, sharp teeth, gills, webbed feet, and fur.
Today your job is to create your own animal with a combination of adaptations! Be creative, and imaginative! Don’t forget to include their habitat in your drawing!
