Dunkin' has officially unveiled its menu collaboration with the highly anticipated film, “Wicked: For Good.” This limited-time lineup debuted on Nov. 5 and features two new drinks: the Wicked Pink Refresher and the Wicked Green Matcha. It also includes sprinkle-covered Wicked munchkins with a special tin and fun, colorful “Wicked” merchandise. But the important question is, is it worth the hype?
To kick things off, Dunkin’s Wicked Pink Refresher brings a burst of flavor. This special drink is made by adding two blueberry flavor shots and sparkling water to a Strawberry Dragonfruit Refresher. This beverage is my favorite item on the “Wicked” menu; I rate it a 9/10. It is very sweet and flavorful, a perfect representation of Glinda. Sophomore Sushmitha Venkatesan had a similar opinion, rating it an 8/10, saying, “It had a really sweet but also tart strawberry taste, and the sparkling water added to it made it a really fun drink.”
Next up is the Wicked Green Matcha, representing Elphaba. This is composed of matcha, whole milk, two pumps of brown sugar syrup, and two toasted almond flavor shots. I have never been a fan of matcha, so this drink isn’t particularly my favorite. I rate it a 5/10 because each sip was just too sweet for my taste. Venkatesan agrees, providing, “It had an interesting aftertaste.” Senior Julia Derecskey, on the other hand, enjoyed this drink a little more and rated it a 6/10. “I liked how the drink had a little extra sweetness with the milk and almond flavoring, but the sweetness did overpower the matcha,” she comments.

The Wicked Munkins are uniquely covered in pink and green sprinkles and come in a special Wicked tin. The munchkins themselves are very good, making for an excellent snack without overpowering flavor. They earn a rating of 8/10 from me. The tin they’re served in features silhouettes of Glinda and Elphaba with Ozian decorations, making for a lovely keepsake.
Dunkin’ offers new Wicked-themed merchandise as well. Head to your local Dunkin’ store to find beautiful white tumblers with “Wicked” spelled out in pink and green. If that’s not enough, there are also cup sleeves in both green and pink, as well as straw toppers that are styled to match Glinda and Elphaba.
Overall, I’d give the Dunkin’ Wicked menu an 8/10. Even though it is on the smaller side, it is full of quality items. I would definitely try these things again, because I enjoyed almost everything about this limited-time collaboration. So what are you waiting for? Hurry and head on over to Dunkin’ before Dec. 2 to try the Wicked menu before it's gone…for good!
