Mission: To put Christian principles into practice by promoting youth, adult and family activities that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all.
Clientele: Serve all ages from youth through seniors.
Services: Variety of programs and services for all ages including, but not limited to: health & wellness, sports, arts & humanities, aquatics, active older adult programming, child care, camps and special events.
Internship Description (120 Hours): Students will learn about the basics of not-for-profit work including, but limited to budgeting, fundraising, programming, special events and work with volunteers and staff. General overview of all programs and services that the Y provides. Students will have the ability to complete a project based on the needs of the Y and the interest of the individual.

Advanced Internship Description (280 Hours): Students will learn about the basics of not-for-profit work including, but limited to budgeting, fundraising, programming, special events and work with volunteers and staff. General overview of all programs and services that the Y provides and ability to get more in-depth in specific program areas, including those of interest to the student. Students will have the ability to complete a project based on the needs of the Y and the interest of the individual.

Leadership Experience: Can be tailored to the individual students interest. Some possible leadership experiences would include:

Leading Staff Meetings
Setting Meeting Agendas
Recording Meeting Minutes
Participation in specialized projects and groups
Leadership role in a department of interest
