Mission: Fond du Lac Literacy Services helps adults in our community with the basic skills needed to learn and prosper in the 21st Century: reading, writing, mathematics, and learning English. Dedicated and trained tutors work one-on-one with students using personalized lesson plans at a pace that is comfortable for the student.

Clientele: We serve low literacy adults, 18 and older, of any gender, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status. About half of our students are currently English language learners, and the majority of our learners are low income.

Services: We provide one-one tutoring for low literate or English language learning adults by volunteer tutors. We offer classes periodically including a health literacy, financial literacy, computer literacy and a book club. Students can also participate in an online reading program.
