Mission: The Wisconsin Division of Community Corrections in collaboration with the Outagamie County Treatment Court will offer various programming and services for participants of the Outagamie County Treatment Court program to assist them in maintaining an alcohol and drug free lifestyle.

Clientele: Wisconsin Department of Corrections offenders currently on probation/parole that are currently participating in the Outagamie County Treatment Court.

Internship Description (120 Hours): Not available

Advanced Internship Description (280 Hours): Please note: Students are required to attend a two consecutive day training held at the DOC Training Center in Madison. The dates of the training are not optional and will most likely be scheduled on weekdays, 9:00am to 4:00pm, each month during the semester. The student will be provided with a parking pass. Mileage and meals plus overnight stay (if chosen by the student) are at the student's expense. More information will be provided during an interview.

**Students must be available to participate in pre/post court activities every Thursday from 8:00am to 11:00am.

Under the direct supervision of Wisconsin Department of Corrections Probation/Parole Agents, interns will assist in the supervision of correctional offenders participating in the Outagamie County Treatment Court program. Interns will participate in pre-court meetings with the Outagamie County Treatment Court team. This team consists of Outagamie County Circuit Court Judges, assistant district attorneys, public defenders and various local treatment providers. Students will meet with correctional offenders and collateral sources outside of court to ensure offenders are taking the appropriate steps in maintaining an alcohol and drug free lifestyle.
