Mission: UW Oshkosh Admissions Office recruits, admits and serves a diverse, inclusive and academically prepared undergraduate population while upholding the integrity of a comprehensive admissions process.

Clientele: Prospective undergraduate students and their families.

Services: Process applications for admission, implement a variety of recruitment events, attend college fairs, meet individually with students/families, high school visits, and promote UW Oshkosh through a variety of outlets.

Internship Description (120 Hours): Assist with planning and execution of recruitment/conversion events such as Preview Days. Learn to conduct campus tours. May have the opportunity to attend college fairs or other events with Admissions staff (schedule permitting). Assist with other projects pertinent to the Admissions Office at time of placement.

Advanced Internship Description (280 Hours): Assist with planning and execution of recruitment/conversion events such as Preview Days with a greater level of responsibility than the 120 hour placement might have. Meet with prospective students and families. Learn to conduct campus tours. Attend college fairs or other events with Admissions staff as schedule permits. Attend staff meetings and training sessions. Assist with other projects pertinent to the Admissions Office at the time of placement and in line with student's skills and abilities.

Leadership Experience - Advanced Internship (280 hours):

The advanced internship provides the opportunity to develop leadership skills through taking the lead on aspects of planning events, leading campus tours, meeting independently with prospective students and their families. They will also have the opportunity to work autonomously, further developing their self-directed leadership skills.
