Mission: Our mission is to reach families in Wisconsin who are touched by autism. We strive to provide behavior modification treatment to help individuals find coping mechanisms to manage the stressors that having an autism diagnosis can bring.

Clientele: We serve clients from two years of age to early 20's, with our main area being 3-9 years old. A vast majority of our clients that we serve have an autism diagnosis, with a few having traumatic brain injury diagnosis.

Services: We provide 1:1 autism treatment to individuals on the autism spectrum. We work on programs related to their individual goals, which could include self helps skills, communication, social skills and behavior modification.

Internship Description (120 Hours): Each student would provide approx 80 hours of paid direct service to clients on the autism spectrum. The direct service would include working 1:1 (with supervision) with children with ASD diagnosis. Each child has his/ her own set of goals, so you would be trained on each child specifically. The other approx 40 hours would be unpaid learning activities. These learning activities would include: how to write a behavior intervention plan, how to create a treatment plan, goals and programs for children, how to make activities to address each program, and how to complete paperwork that is required by supervisors on each child.

Advanced Internship Description (280 Hours): Not available.
