Clientele: Children age 6-18 and their families
Services: Out of school programming in a safe, friendly, educational, & supportive environment.
Internship Description (120 Hours): Assist in programming that is already offered through the Club. This may include, but is not limited to; STEM, art, healthy habits, The Wet Hair Club, Adopt-a-Family Holiday program, Thanksgiving meals program, etc.
Advanced Internship Description (280 Hours): Mentor youth, assist with existing programs, attend community meetings, staff meetings etc, learn and participate in administrative functions which may include but is not limited to marketing, operations, volunteer coordination.Student's leadership experience will be to design and implement a program for youth between the ages of 6-18 years old with the goal of helping them prepare for graduation, be a good citizen, and live a healthy life. Through this process, students will learn the ins and outs of program planning and implementation and tracking outcomes for grant purposes.
