Mission:

The UW Oshkosh Veterans Resource Center (VRC) is dedicated to providing support for our University's dependents

and spouses of veterans. Our goal is to empower veterans' dependents and spouses with the tools necessary for achieving their

academic goals.

Internship Description (120 hours):

  • Event planning

  • Social Media campaigns

  • Creation and distribution of marketing materials

  • Event facilitation and execution

  • Preparing new veterans spaces at the access centers

  • Community outreach

  • Campus Partnerships

Advanced Internship Description (280 hours):

    • Event planning

    • Social Media campaigns

    • Preparing new veterans spaces at the access centers

Leadership experience: For the leadership experience the Intern will be given a large scale project to manage and execute from begin to end with assistance and support of the Veterans Resource Team and the Student Veterans Association. Project will be based on a real time need of the student veterans on campus or the creation of programming that will improve our vet friendliness valuation across campus.
