Internship Description (120 Hours): Staffing responsibilities in planning, resource development, special events, projects and office/administration activities on a small scale. The interns will assist United Way staff some of the following ways; planning and preparing campaign materials; developing and implementing marketing and public relations plans, recruiting and training telemarketing volunteers; special events; preparing news releases and feature articles for media exposure as well as a services directory for organized labor employees. An intern will also participate in various United Way and community meetings.
