Mission: The Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh inspires and enables young people to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.

Clientele: The Boys & Girls Club serves youth ages 6 to 18 and is currently serving over 4,000 youth in Oshkosh and the surrounding area through membership and community outreach.

Services: The Boys & Girls Club is a youth development facility that provides opportunities in Education and career development, health and life skills, character and leadership, sports, fitness and recreation, and the arts. These programs are provided in a dedicated youth facility, open weekdays, professional staff guided, and available and affordable to all youth.

Internship Description (120 Hours): Volunteers and interns are a valuable asset to the Boys & Club program, While here interns will mentor for our members, have first hand experience in working with youth and provide valuable activities for them. Interns will have the chance to assist in programs as well as plan and lead activities in program areas. Interns will work in areas that they have some knowledge in as well as be challenged to try some new planning in areas which they would like to explore. These opportunities can be in any of the following: Education and career development, health and life skills, character and leadership, sports, fitness and recreation, and the arts. We look forward to working with interns who have a strong passion for providing youth who need it the most with opportunities for a bright future.
