Services: The Sports & Rec department at the YMCA offers a variety of different sports to all ages. We offer basketball, football, soccer, volleyball, track & field, and more!
Internship Description (120 Hours):
The student's main responsibilities would be assisting with the operations of the Sports & Rec Department. This would include helping to run sports leagues and classes. We can also provide the opportunity to be learn and work with other areas of the YMCA that they are interested in.
Advanced Internship Description (280 Hours):
The student's main responsibilities would be assisting with the operations of the Sports & Rec Department. This would include helping to run sports leagues and classes. We can also provide the opportunity to be learn and work with other areas of the YMCA that they are interested in.
Leadership experience: Students will be asked to oversee one sports league or class from start to finish. This will include the the marketing, registration, setup, and execution of the program. The student will have access to their own desk and computer to complete these tasks. They will also have guidance from the Sports & Rec Director and Coordinator.
