Mission: To ensure the safety and well-being of the community, in accordance with federal and state mandates, by assisting children and families to utilize their strengths, family supports, and community resources.

Clientele: Child Protective Services

Services: Supervised visitation, transportation, connect with community resources, teach alternative ways to parent children, etc.

Internship Description (120 hours): The agency requires that all students would need to have transportation and must meet the car insurance standards that the agency requires (100,000/300,000 coverage).

Assisting with transportation (taking clients to appointments related to our work with them or bringing paperwork to clients), meeting with Home Consultants and clients to learn the process of assisting the clients, assisting Home Consultants in completing documentation, and learning how to create focused goal

Student's must have flexibility to work both morning and afternoon hours between 8:00am and 4:30pm. As well, some evenings beyond 4:30 pm may be required based on client needs. Schedule will be discussed during the interview.

Advanced Internship Description (280 hours): The agency requires that all students would need to have transportation and must meet the car insurance standards that the agency requires (100,000/300,000 coverage).

Students will do the same as 120 hour students, but if approved they would be able to learn programs/services that are offered to our clients and then, with assistance, would be able to take the lead in providing programs/services to the clients and completing all of the necessary paperwork that goes along with the work.
