Mission: Eastshore Humane Association's is to promote responsible pet ownership and compassion toward all creatures.
Clientele: Calumet and surrounding counties.
Services: Educate public on responsible pet ownership, spay/neuter programs, group presentations on pet care, provide temporary care for stray abandoned and unwanted animals until we find good homes, assist police officers when requested, and maintain records on lost and found pets.
Internship Description (120 Hours): Learn care and welfare of shelter animals, assist in formalization procedures and protocols necessary for animal shelter operations, assist in internal record keeping procedures, and assist in fundraising activities.
Advanced Internship Description (280 Hours): Same as above but time may allow for development of a special project to see through during internship.
