Department of Persian

Persian department was founded in 2016. It offers a scientific opportunity for students to learn Persian language and literature.

This department is about the language and literature of a nation that has its own culture, heritage and language properties and it's considered one of the important languages in the world.

In light of the root's adjacency of Persian and Kurdish language, and geographical nearness, as well as the blending of culture and heritage between the two nations, the aim of this department is to develop experts for researching and comparing between Kurdish and Persian language in an academic way.
