The romance story, After, written by Anna Todd is a love story between a girl named Tessa and a boy named Hardin. Tessa is the kind of girl who stays on top of everything. She makes lists and plans out everything she is going to do to what she is going to wear. But Hardin is quite the opposite. He is a troublemaker that stirs up chaos, especially after he is brought into her life. Their relationship is toxic yet at the same time they continue to love each other after the many wrongdoings they both have done.

After was always leaving me in question. I continued to keep reading and was wanting to know what would happen next. I really enjoyed this book because of the fact that one major event can change your life forever. Tessa says, “My life was so simple and decided, now after him it's just… After.” This is a really meaningful sentence for this love story because it really does show what happened to her. After she met Hardin her life drastically changed.
