The book I am reviewing is “Will Grayson, Will Grayson” by John Green and David Leviathan. The story follows two teen protagonists, both named Will Grayson, living separate lives in Chicago. The first Will is begrudgingly roped into a high school musical run by his best friend, while also mustering up the courage to ask out a girl at his school that he has a crush on. The other Will is also navigating school life, but he is secretly in love with a boy he met online in Ohio. Although they start off in different places, their stories slowly intertwine in unexpected ways, and the two Will Graysons eventually meet and experience their world colliding.
This is a fun and engaging read, largely due to the story's interesting and unique structure with the two parallel storylines. The story is set in a modern-day high school setting, making the characters' identities and struggles extremely relatable. I would definitely recommend "Will Grayson, Will Grayson" to anyone who is looking for a heartwarming and funny book
