The third and last installment of the Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare, Clockwork Princess will spellbind you and glue your fingers to its pages. The Magister has raised up his army of Clockwork monsters to full capacity, and has raised havoc downworld by buying up all of the Yin Fen and feeding it to his downworlder workers in order to make them work more efficiently for a small amount of time. His workers are now hopelessly addicted, and there isn’t enough Yin Fen to purchase for Jem. In addition, he puts out an outrageous ultimatum, demanding that Tessa surrender herself to him for some Yin Fen, which would save Jem's now teetering life. Read Clockwork Princess to see how the daring trio make it out of this fix.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone regardless of if they like fantasy novels or not. I actually recommended the series to my friend who hates books, and she was instantly hooked, and finished the trilogy in a month. Yes, it’s that good. I especially liked how well thought out everything was, from the plot to the resolution. Historical book readers will approve as well: the book was very historically accurate.

Clockwork Princess is the third and final book in the Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare. Two months after the events in Clockwork Prince, everybody knows that the Magister isn’t gone but they don’t know what he’s planning. As James “Jem” Carstairs’s condition gets worse and the only other way for him to keep living is to turn Theresa “Tessa” Gray over to the Magister. The only problem was that they didn’t surrender Tessa and the Magister found another way to capture Tessa and have her fiance die slowly without her by his side.
In the end, Tessa’s fiance survives but they cannot be together, Tessa gets her happy ending but it isn’t complete.
I didn’t want this series to end because I wanted to know what happened to all of them after it ended but I thought that the series ended well. The only thing is to read these books in this order, Clockwork Princess, City of Heavenly Fire, the Clockwork Princess’s epilogue, and then City of Heavenly Fire’s epilogue. This is because there are some parts of one book that will spoil the other.
