A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks

Rating: *****

A Walk to Remember is a beautiful love story about how one girl can change the lives of many even when they don't notice or appreciate her. Jaime Sullivan is a teenage girl who is fully devoted to her life in the church, as her father is a priest. Jaime volunteers at orphanages, performs in her fathers Christmas play, and just helps anyone who needs her assistance. She comes across a teenage boy Landon who she truly thinks has a heart of gold, but just can't seem to show his true colors. Landon has to ask her to a school dance because he is expected to be there since he is on the council. This sparks the relationship between Jaime and Landon. They both learn a lot from each other and discover the true meaning of life and character. I give Sparks book a 5 out of 5 star rating. It sends such a deep and meaningful message into our world today. This book discusses how important it is to accept people for who they are and learn from others because you never know what may happen and you could lose them in a second. It is a beautiful story and it is inspiring to all. It conveys how important it is to never change who you are and to always focus on what is important. I loved how meaningful this book was and it definitely gives a different perspective on how you look at things and how you view life. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys dramas and love stories. I truly recommend this to anyone because it teaches very valuable lessons to all people and I believe that if more people were to read this book it would change a lot of peoples hearts and perspectives in a positive way.
