In the third book of the School for Good and Evil series by bestselling author Soman Chainani, Agatha and Tedros are at Agatha’s home in Gavaldon, while Sophie is in the School Master’s tower in the Woods. Agatha thought that they would finally be happy here with Sophie out the way, but it is quite the opposite. Now, it seems, when Tedros isn’t cursing at her cat or moping around, he is fighting with her, Agatha is distraught, and questions if Tedros truly is her True Love. On the other side of the world, at the School for Good and Evil, Sophie is, too, distraught. A mysterious boy with snow white skin and silvery hair kneels to the floor every morning and asks her to be his True Love, and every morning she says no. Why does he want her love so badly? How can she leave the tower? How can Agatha repair her and Tedros’ love, and are they even truly supposed to be together? Read The Last Ever After to find out.
Aside from Soman Chainani’s adeptness in writing enthralling fantasy plots, he is also very skilled in writing lovable characters that seem so real and human, sceneries that are so vivid and fantastic, and lastly, hilarious dialogue. Even if you’re not a fan of fantasy, you should read The Last Ever After for its comedic lines.
