If you are seeking a thrill-inducing and mystery book, The Cellar by Natasha Preston is for you. This book retells the story of Summer stuck inside a cellar underneath her kidnapper's house along with three other girls. There is a strange aspect to her kidnapper though, he names each one of the girls after flowers. Lily, Rose, Violet, and Poppy. Stunned by his strange behavior, Summer is desperate to return to her loving home where her boyfriend and family were. Summer soon discovers that her dream of escaping is in far-reach when she learns that the leader of the group, Rose, is suffering from severe Stockholm syndrome. This story is filled with suspense and darkness which intrigued me to keep on turning the pages. The changes in points of view were eye-opening and assisted you with intel that you would not be able to obtain from other characters.
