The book I am reviewing is “Meant to Be” by Lauren Morrill. The story follows a high schooler named Julia and her class trip to London, England. Julia is a star student and prefers to live life by following the rules, but on the trip she’s paired with her total opposite, a student named Jason. Jason is far more laidback and likes to break the rules, making it difficult for Julia to enjoy herself at first. However, their relationship forces Julia to tap into her adventurous side and try to enjoy London in a more fun and spontaneous way.

This book is a light and fun read for anyone who loves to travel. The characters visit several iconic London spots throughout the story, making it the perfect book for anyone who wants to visit London someday or travel vicariously through the characters. The book also describes friendship and high school relationships in an extremely relatable and heartwarming way.
