At midpoint where the high grass plains and the mountain passes meet you see a most renowned outcrop of stone covered in lush cool moss that drips with condensation collected from the mountain's white curtain of air as it rolls down from up high. "This is Stepstones, Pathway of the Gods!" The dock worker says beaming with pride. At the Stepstones, the dock worker shows you a yellow plant hidden deep within the moss. Its delicate flower almost hidden in a sea of green. "Snowdrops", he says with a lot of pride and an air of superiority.
"Consuming this herb will help you withstand the extreme cold of the mountain," he says. "You'll need its power of warmth if you hope to survive long enough to find what you seek. No man has come down from the peaks without its aid." The mage in your group confirms that he had heard rumour of such a plant and its warming power and convinces you that it is indeed safe. Its strange how this human has knowledge of the plants of Morian and their medical properties, Aslter would be proud. If I said Alster's name would they know who that is? Should I ask them how they have this knowledge of healing and protection? Am I in the future? Your mind is still racing, you even suspect that the human is Delrona in disguise and this is some sort of ruse. The warrior in your party, Dushino, looks at you strangely, "you alright?" he questions. "you keep making strange expressions and mumbling to yourself".
"Its ok, I mean I'm ok I just have things going on." You say as cover.
Nodding as if in agreement with the human, you begin picking the delicate petals. You ingest some now and decide to take extra in case you have need of it later.
You move on, following the dock worker. As he guides you through the dark pine trees, the sight of the mountain's intimidating height looms larger in your eye but even larger in your mind.
Snowdrops come in two colours. Do some research and enter those two colour variations in Thy Quests to continue.
