With Caska in tow and walk across the Bridge of Nike to the island that holds the school for air mages. You had never ventured across the long bridge before which sits on a windy cliff separate from the mainland. As you approach, boulders break from the isle and fly toward you, Air Mages balancing overtop. Sentries for the school and they were really over defensive but now you remember why you had never come to this part of Kath before.

One of them soars closer. "Why have so many come to my doorstep?" She sounds suspicious. Her gaze flicks from Rek to Caska, then to the rest of you. "Rek, Caska, what is the meaning of this? Why are you not with your mages training? Do you finally see the futility of competition with us in the face of air powers? And who is this young Eldonian?"

Tharah steps forward, explaining your purpose in the city with a wisdom and charm that you often forget she has because of her age and size. You turn to Talik as they talk, "What is her name again?" Talik leans over to quietly remind you that she is the Air Mage school leader, Aerka.

"This artifact," Aerka says. "Its power must be formidable with all this hoopla. If so, it doesn't belong in the hands of careless Fire and Water Mages. We claim the artifact on behalf of all mages. We will discover its use and share our knowledge once we have secured its power."

Rek and Caska  begin to gesticulate to argue but Kiva holds out his arm. "You call yourselves leaders? This is not the way of our people. This is not how Ky taught us to be."

"What would you know of Ky and her ways, old man?" Aerka says. "How do you know of Ky? Who is this derelict you have dragged from the past?"

Kiva shakes his head sadly. He says nothing more. Without a mask, and with his strange energy, he must not look like a Mage to them. Or at least, not a Fire, Water, or Air Mage — not one of their own.

Aerka steps onto the bridge that crosses the circular pit in front of them. She brushes past Kiva. "We'll see what Maeka has to say about this. Let's get this over with."

Rek says, "Stop! To go any further you must answer this puzzle. This pit the bridge crosses has a radius of 19 meters, how far must you walk if you walk around the entire bridge twice?"
