E7Q3 Calm Before the Storm
You had to use an old map as the new abandoned colony islands were so new that it would take months before they could be part of the new Vay maps and knowledge. The old map indicated an edge of Vay that could give you the shortest route to Morian from the Moonstone Cliffs if you took off from there so you set out in that direction. The wind whipped around you as the griffon soared higher, each powerful beat of its wings carrying you further from the islands of Vay. The lush greenery below gradually gave way to the craggy, white peaks of the Moonstone Cliffs. Every gust of wind tugged at your cloak, and you struggled to maintain your grip on the griffon’s reins. Anxious thoughts gnawed at your mind, wondering what had happened to Drue, Haden, Alster, and the others. Had the teleportation gone awry for them as well? Were they stranded somewhere, just as you were? The uncertainty weighed heavily on you, but you pressed on, aiming for the strong winds of the Moonstone Cliffs that might elevate you high enough to return to Morian.
As the Moonstone Cliffs came into view, the memory of the scroll you were supposed to deliver to Elder Tharah, resurfaced. Amid the chaos, you had forgotten to hand it over. With the winds buffeting you, you pulled out the scroll and began to read. The parchment detailed a complex method for combining crystals, requiring the skills of a Mage, a Healer, and a Guardian to channel their powers simultaneously at a Voek Shrine. The result would be control of a crystal of immense magnetic energy, capable of being directed and applied for various purposes. Your mind was racing as your escape from the tower seemed like your only important action now. Then you were thinking about everything that had transpired in that tower. There was a woman there, you hadn't been introduced. She did not speak and you assumed she had been teleported there by the siblings for your meeting. Who was she? Your thoughts on this power and the woman were abruptly interrupted as you spotted the Moonstone Fields below. Descending rapidly, you struggled to control the griffon in the turbulent air. Landing was rough; the griffon stumbled, and you were thrown to the ground, surprised by the sudden loss of a rider the griffon took off and flew up looking for a perch or crag to land on, somewhere safe to look down on the land. A sharp pain shooting through your ankle. Alone and injured, you realized you desperately needed a healer, but there was no one around to help. Where is Alster when you need him?
Your ankle is twisted and already swelling. There is no one around, you can't walk. How should you treat your injury. Describe the first aid required for a turned or sprained ankle in Thy Quests.
