You return to the main room, where the leaders of your tribes suddenly flash into the room and stand waiting. The siblings have brought all together again. You quickly tell them what you've learned, the tower they are in is now protected from the Witch of the Water by the scroll, but the unstable lava that was causing magnetic distortions and chaos will not subside unless you can get to the Home Tower and protect the mega crystal and then even teleportation will be possible again all over Solea, but the Woman of Light had told you something else — and now there is a decision you face.
But even as you say all the this, you know your answer.
"We want to help," you say. Haden, Talik, Drue and Alster nod. "If the Voek are still alive, we want to find them. And we need to better understand how the mega crystal and unstable lava are affecting our world."
Elder Tharah steps forward. "The other leaders and I have been sending messages since our gathering. We will bring our tribes together, to help each other as we did in the past." Maeka, Chief Garrow, and Soera voice their agreement.
Drue, who was still suffering from being teleported in, steps forward awkwardly. "I would like to join you but this land is not fit for the griffons. If I come I must come alone, but I offer my knowledge of the island and my strength.
"Once activated, the light gate will remain open on this side," the woman of light says. "Others may pass through, including the witch and she will be on your tail. Are you ready?"
You smile, stepping closer to your companions.
"Lets go!" You say loud and clear as the tower vanishes around you. The smell of the ocean fills the air and you feel weightless — passing untethered through space but this time you're not afraid.
You appear on the edge of a great purple lava river that flows toward the Home Tower which now stands far to the south of your last position. The river glows with an eerie light, its surface bubbling and shifting with molten currents. The heat is intense, and you can feel it even from a distance. The task of crossing it looms ahead, and you know it will require the combined powers of mage, warrior, and healer.
As the strongest mage, Talik steps forward first. She chants an incantation, and a shimmering bridge of hardened lava begins to form across the river, its surface crackling as it cools. The bridge is stable but narrow, and the heat still radiates fiercely from the purple flow below.
Next, Haden, the warrior, takes the lead. She guides the group across the bridge, her senses heightened and ready for any sudden threats. Her strength and agility keep everyone moving swiftly and safely, her eyes constantly scanning for danger.
Alster, the healer, follows closely behind, his staff glowing with a soft, soothing light. He mutters a protective spell, creating a barrier that shields the group from the worst of the heat. His magic also keeps everyone’s energy up, ensuring no one falters on the treacherous crossing.
Once across, Haden pauses and looks westward. "Before we go to the Home Tower, we should head to the Cave of Heroes," she says. "Drue says it's in the far west of the islands. There's a special tool there that may help us in our battle with the Witch of the Water." Drue congratulates Haden on her excellent memory and made a joke about how she is still learning from his masterful skills and knowledge.
