Now that you've found Ivy, all that's left to do is to explore the tower for things that will help ease the suffering of the boy of light. You wonder if his predicament is connected to the excess power flow in the etheria and crystals.
You start down a long half-lit hallway and reach a tall, thin locked door. You give it a push, jiggle the large stone handles," It's a dead end without a key," you tell everyone.
"Maybe an accomplished mage would try some magic on the door, you'd think," Haden suggests with a smirk. "And if you don't have any special door opening, key unlocking spells for this, you should ask your instructors for some more useful lessons."
Rolling your eyes, you step forward and try a simple unlocking spell. A faint glow surrounds the door, but nothing happens. "Guess I need to hit the books, then."
Haden laughs.
"Alright, warrior, it's your turn. Use those muscles and bash the door in." You say a little annoyed with both the door and Haden.
She steps up, giving the door a hard push and then steps back and runs at it shouldering the door hard, but it doesn't budge. "Let's try the other way," Haden says, turning back. Alster sees a tiny rope and ring on the right of the door and deliberately gives it a tug with just two fingers. The doors slowly swing open in a very dramatic way and Alster looks at you and Haden and says, "Or we could go through the door." You give Alster a punch on the shoulder as you pass him and go through, Haden does the same but much harder. Alster rubs his upper shoulder and with a smile says "What was that for?" Richalt, looked at Ivy, lowered his head a with a small shake of his head side to side said nothing as he walked past Alster.
Haden follows you and you soon find a room bathed in bright light. Blocks of crystals have been chiselled and cut into shapes with amazing precision, and rusty old tools are scattered about.
As amazing as it is filled with light and blocks and craved geometric shapes, the room doesn't contain any useful information or clues about the stars the boy asked you to follow. Just as you're about to leave, Talik rushes forward. She runs across the room her eyes fixed on a place in the corner of the floor and retrieves what appears to be an aged piece of cloth. It's so old, the threads fall apart in her hands.
"This crest," she says. "It's old, but it's definitely from a mage from Karaz Island. Its disintegrating its been here so long. Its from the robes of a mage. But how has it been here so long if this tower has just appeared? The badge is from a water mage of an order that doesn't exist anymore. How did it get here?"
No one has any answers for her. Even Richalt shakes his head, incredulous. The more strange things you find here in the tower, the more questions you have.
The crest has a six pointed star with the outline of a valley in the centre of it with the letters Lava & Water embossed on it.
Draw the crest in google drawing and submit it in Thy Quests below go to the final stage of the tower.
