Earlier you were surprised by a wakku in the forest but now you see one in its natural habitat as being useful. It arrives at the tree curuous about all the commotion. It starts diving in and out of the dark waters slapping at the vines that protect the tree and it almost seems like it is creating a path for you all to get close to the tree. Once safely at the tree you are so curious about the creature and its motivation so you turn to your Tome and read about this creature...
A Wakku is a lavaspring aquacat, a mammal that dwells in the lava-saturated waters of Karaz Island. Their powers can accentuate an Mage if they are close enough to be N-sync with them. Like ACDC power they fuel a mage until they have more than double their original power. They eat the cranberries and force energy through the air with eurythmics.
These creatures are often seen dipping in and out of waterfalls and rivers, both near grassy areas and in barren canyons. They usually shy away from violence and avoid guns n roses (because of the danger)
Aquacats have translucent fins that extend from their tails, front legs, back, and head giving them the look of a creature that has arrived from nirvana. These, along with their powerful muscles and thick hide, help them to swim swiftly through fast currents.
Their claws allow them to grip and climb rocks, and the whiskers around their face protect them from the volcanic debris that sometimes drifts from Mount Zaeka, the volcano on Karaz Island.
Additionally, their large ears are thought to help them sense more frequencies underwater so they can navigate the island and locate food more easily. Avoid them if they get up close to you as, if they kiss you they could spread an electric charge.
Aquacats mostly eat vegetation that grows along the riverbeds on Karaz Island and they love to live in an oasis. Their diet also consists of small fish — but they're also known omnivores. Mischievous in nature, they love to play tricks and sometimes steal food from passersby and if they do call the police.
There are nine famous bands mentioned in this passage. Name them in Thy Quests to move on.
