When the doorway to the teleportation gate had opened to reveal the welcome faces of Elder Tharah, Head Mage Maeka, and Chief Garrow you had been so surprised and you watched intently as they stepped into the tower's main room. Haden rushed to her father, enveloping him in a heartfelt embrace.
Tharah's eyes widen as she studies the radiant woman of light. After your time with the Healer Elder, you understand she's likely grappling with which question to ask first.
"We saw the tempest over Vay before we journeyed here," Maeka says, addressing you and your companions. "We weren't sure if you would be safe. There was a message for us to go to our towers as we were needed here. We see that the final tower has now returned, you have all done so well."
The woman of light nods. "It took immense effort from all of the siblings of light to make this meeting possible, but now that we have power again we can help with teleportation, but you must know the usurper is here? The secret of the movement of matter, the tablet of Alderat is in your hands. Now that all the tribes have united, doors that were sealed shut long ago can once again open, but beware of those who seek to control the power, we sense her and you must take action."
Standing amidst these esteemed leaders, a sense of accomplishment washes over you. Your quests have brought you to this pivotal moment, but an unsettling realization dawns – this is merely the calm before the storm. The true tempest, the "one who seeks control," the nemesis of your peoples, looms on the horizon.
"There's much more to tell you," the woman of light continues, "but it will be easier for me to show you firsthand." She waved her hand made of light.
A familiar tingling sensation overtakes you as the room is engulfed in light then suddenly stops. You were braced for a teleportation but you could feel something went wrong. Elder Tharah, Head Mage Maeka, and Chief Garrow flashed in and out of focus then disappeared. Talik by your side is suddenly gone, Alster sparks and becomes a white light and then nothing, you turn and Haden and Drue are likewise not there. They were gone and you were all alone in the tower. You run outside to find a griffon tied to a tree and even without the skill to ride and with fear shaking your every fibre you launch into the air. But where will you end up now, how will you find Drue, Haden and Alster? Is this the final chapter of your adventure? Or is this only the beginning of a new, more tumultuous journey?
