2025 was the first full year of Classcraft 2.0 and the game was developing and changing as the year went on.
Here are some comments and advice from the first ever year of grade 7 players.
Don't Spend all of your GP on tests so you can save it up for the auction at the end of the year.
Invest early and become anything but a Guardian.
My advice for Classcraft next year is to be a Healer and invest everything you get. The reason you should be a Healer is because you can speed run the first 30 levels by just pressing Heals for your teammate. Next you should look to invest all your money into crystals when they are low and sell quickly as the market is vile. Lastly have one kid in your class spend all their money on Freedom power like I did, good luck and become the best. By the way, I'm broke and it's awesome.
If you ever see a spelling mistake in a test, assignment, etc, then Mr. Watts will give you 50 XP for finding it so it's basically free XP. Mage is the best type of player because of the high amount of crystals and good powers, for example, during a test you can use a power named The Call which allows you to ask a classmate for help on the test, it's a very good power.
Do quests early so you level up fast as they help get you extra powers at the end of the game when you get Ascension Powers plus if you are a Guardian you can use Four Quests and cheat the system for answers.
Keep all your GP in the bank (no tax). If you are a healer like me, use Médecins Sans Frontières. It is the best for XP. Buy blue when it is at 120 or lower. (Healers are better than Mages because a Mage is hard to level up so you can’t use the powers even at the end of the year.)
A few strategies that I would give to you is help your table group, don't gamble on the Wheel of Destiny, try to find every single mistake Mr. Watts makes since you get 50 XP for every mistake you find, and invest in the crystals. The reason you should help your table group is because you can make sure everyone else is alive so they can help you in return. You also get a lot of XP for using your powers regularly. The second thing is don't gamble on the Wheel of Destiny because it costs 100 GP to get a less than 0.5% chance to get 1000 GP back. Third, pay attention to every mistake Mr. Watts makes as over time this can get you tons of XP. Lastly, be the first to invest in red crystals as it can make you the most money and also buy lots of blue crystals when the price is low. One extra tip is put most of your money in the bank so that it is safe from Mr. Watts when he taxes.
Hey there future crafter's you guys are super lucky to be in Mr. Watts class. Before you pick a character, think of what kind of student are you? If you are super smart and are willing to do extra tasks like quests you should be a Healer. Healer's level up the quickest and are usually the best in the class usually. Then the Mages, If you are a clever person but aren't willing to do a quest but still want to level up and get lots of cool powers this is the character for you. Mages have the biggest variety of powers and are super fun to play with. Then finally the Guardian. Guardians have the biggest advantage in test assignments and hearts. Guardians might seem easy but trust me they aren't. Guardians are extremely hard to level up and get crystals. Whichever character you choose will have benefits but make sure the drawbacks don't overcome the benefits. Good luck to all of you and have a great year! Rico
Dear next year players if you have max crystals then sell for all of them before the weekend so you get more GP. Also if you have max crystals then sell two of them for GP. When you choose to pick your character I would choose Mage because in my opinion it has the best powers.
Dear next year's players always pick GP over XP. If I were you I would pick to be Mage they have the best advantages. If you have max crystals, sell all of them for GP by the end of the week and don't click Freedom Power every Monday.
Okay so Classcraft plays a 35% role in our class, meaning it's crucial, but it's okay if you don't understand what's going on at first. When you get to the part of choosing your role as a Guardian, Mage or Healer, CHOOSE HEALER. Healers have the most advantages during the daily events and most of all, their powers. Their powers include: Listening to music in class, using your own cheat sheet during a test, being able to skip your job of cleaning up the class for a week, being able to ask if your answer on a test is correct, being able to switch your table group with another person, and being able to go home 10 minutes early. Mages have a few good powers, but DO NOT pick Guardian. It is extremely unfair and the only good things you have is being able to hand in an assignment a day later or skip a random question on a test. Which you won't need, as you can REDO the whole test as a Mage, or again, check your notes as a Healer. Save your GP, trust me. The rewards at the end of the year that you can buy stuff in the auction. They range from basketballs to LITERAL GOOGLE PLAY and APPLE giftcards! I regret not saving a lot. XP is good for leveling up. Freedom power seems tempting, but trust me if you press it on Monday you will regret it.
If you play as a Guardian, you can level up fast by protecting your team , every time you guard someone, you earn XP. Guardians have tons of hearts, so you can trade them for GP with powers like Valedictorian. Counter Attack is amazing, it lets you remove a question from your test. And before any big exam or project, use 'Secret Weapon' to boost your percent by 10%. Guardians if you play right and help your team, end up with the most XP and GP, they’re the strongest class.
XP counts at the beginning of the year but you need GP at the end of the year so do things that get XP when you start and switch to GP in January.
If you get the XP to GP daily event, spend all XP on it, that's how I was the richest in the class. Eliot
You can bank a portion of GP regularly. It is recommended to choose a Mage or a Healer, and you should invest some.
If you are wondering on what to pick either pick a Guardian, Healer or a Mage you should pick a Healer because most of the daily events land on them and they have the best luck.
You should pick a Mage because they have very good powers and advantages which can lead to good marks and grades on tests.
My advice for you new players is I advise you to spend your money on red crystals when they are low and sell them when they are high. I also advise that The Deal is very overpowered also Mage is the best class and Freedom Power is very fun, 1500 GP for one period outside.
When you get into Classcraft you should get stocks and have at least 2 crystals just in case of any punishment. Mage is the best character you should choose because you can ask for anyone's help in the test and redo a test. Do not invest in the Wheel of Destiny. It will be almost impossible to get a match, do a lot of quests, it is really fun and you get a lot of XP.
Use T-Bills if you have extra money that you don't need, then you get more for free but not for the last month.
Carpe Diem
