As you all gather at the top of the shrine again you sit and pull out a flatbread and some dried fruits you purchased from a vender on your way to the shrine. You share it with the others and you all stare at the tree for a while, captivated by its beauty. Soon Richalt speaks, while chewing unfortunately, not judging but he grew up in the mountains, less people around and all that. "Two etheria trees can't be a coincidence. Something important is happening on Elda Island. We should seek out Elder Tharah. She'll know what to do." Alster knew who he was talkiing about. All the elders were known to Eldonians and when they changed the news was broadcast citywide so all would know who their guides were. "She will be at Vera Temple," he says, "come I know the way."

Together you make your way to Vera Temple, where the most knowledgeable scholars on the island study each serving for 10 years before being reselected based on their wisdom and achievements. When you arrive, you look out on the lake below the temple. It's surrounded by more sprites and plant life than you've ever seen before.

"Lake Vera is rumoured to be bottomless, running deep into the Sprite Underground," Richalt says. "It's beautiful, isn't it?" "Yes," says Alster,"but there are way too many sprites and too much growth. It never looks this purple.  

Before you can agree, the earth trembles, causing you to stumble. Haden and Talik form a circle around you, Haden automatically activating her shield and protecting the group. 

After a few minutes, the earthquake passes. You hear shouts of panic as the city recovers from the unexpected tremor. The ground has fractured in several places, the earth upturned. Above, the sprites fly in dizzying circles, adding to the turmoil. "Not sure what is going on but this is on us," Haden says to you all.

Elder Tharah

Elder Tharah is a young girl and one of the most respected elders in the Healer community. She spends most of her time in Vera Temple, helping the people of Verdalia, assisting the other elders, and communing with the sprites.

Personality

While Tharah is young, she’s gained status among the Eldonians due to her inante wisdom, kindness, and talent for sensing the emotions and will of the sprites. She is dedicated to their well-being and happiness and strives for peace between sprites and humans.

Due to her warmth and open-heartedness, Tharah gets along easily with others, even those from other tribes. Intensely eager and curious, she’s often bursting with energy, asking a lot of questions and running around Vera Temple all day long.

Physical Appearance

Tharah has shoulder-length brown hair and wears simple garments common among Healer elders.
