La squadra Heroes Den Bosch ha sede a ‘s-Hertogenbosch (anche nota come Den Bosch), cittadina della parte meridionale dei Paesi Bassi.
Il club gioca nella BNXT League e nella massima divisione di basket dei Paesi Bassi dal 1972. Fondato come EBBC nel 1951, il club ha avuto diversi nomi sponsorizzati nei decenni successivi.
Den Bosch ha un record di sedici campionati olandesi e sette titoli della NBB Cup.
La squadra è stata anche una presenza fissa nelle competizioni europee.
Il 18 ottobre 1952 venne fondato l'Eerste Bossche Basketball Club (EBBC) e nel 1962 Den Bosch giocò per la prima volta nella massima serie ma senza risultati apprezzabili.
Successivamente la squadra è stata nuovamente retrocessa. Nel 1979, EBBC ha vinto il suo primo titolo e nel 1980, la squadra divenne Nashua Den Bosch dopo l’arrivo del nuovo sponsor principale. Il suo budget aumentato ha portato asei titoli olandesi consecutivi tra il 1982 e il 1987.
Nel giugno 2005, Den Bosch si è fusa con Eiffel Towers Nijmegen per formare Eiffel Towers Den Bosch.
A seguito della fusione, il club aveva uno dei budget più ricchi nei Paesi Bassi potendo quindi permettersi di ingaggiare buoni giocatori. Nella loro prima stagione hanno immediato vinto il titolo della lega olandese. L'anno successivo gli EiffelTowers Bosch bissano il successo sconfiggendo in finale i Matrixx Magixx, dopo aver perso solo quattro partite nella stagione regolare.
Nei due anni successivi, Den Bosch raggiunse la finale, ma perse due volte contro Amsterdam.
Nel 2012, Eiffel Towers ha vinto il suo quindicesimo campionato olandese, dopo aver battuto lo ZZ Leiden.
Dopo 13 anni di gioco con gli Eiffel Towers, il club ha cambiato nome in SPM Shoeters nel 2013. Insieme al cambio di nome, il club ha cambiato i colori della squadra in nero, dopo aver giocato in rosso dal 2000.
Nella stagione 2014-15, Shoeters ha vinto il suo sedicesimo campionato DBL vincendo in finale contro il Donar Groeningen. La squadra si è comportata in modo eccellente anche nell’Eurochallenge di quella stagione, raggiungendo la Top 16.
Al termine della stagione 2015-16 gli Shoeters hanno dovuto far fronte a seri problemi finanziari che hanno portato la squadra sull'orlo della bancarotta.
Nell'ottobre 2016, la squadra è stata acquistata da Triple Double BV, un'impresa di marketing sportivo ed ha nuovamente cambiato denominazione in New Heroes Basketball.
Nella sua prima stagione come New Heroes, il club è arrivato quarto nella DBL ed è stato travolto dal Donar in semifinale.
Il 21 agosto 2019, il club ha definitivamente cambiato nome in Heroes Den Bosch.
La squadra gioca le partite casalinghe nel Maaspoort, un’arena da 3.500 posti.

The Heroes Den Bosch team is based in’s-Hertogenbosch (also known as Den Bosch), a town in the southern part of the Netherlands.
The club has played in the Dutch top division since 1972 and now has joined the BNXT league. Founded as EBBC in 1951, the club had several sponsored names in the following decades.
Den Bosch has got a record of sixteen Dutch championships and seven NBB Cup titles.
The team was also a fixture in European competitions.
On October 18, 1952, the Eerste Bossche Basketball Club (EBBC) was founded and in 1962 Den Bosch played for the first time in the top flight but with no appreciable results.
Subsequently, the team was relegated to the lower series again. In 1979, EBBC won its first title and in 1980, the team became Nashua Den Bosch after its new main sponsor’s arrival.
Its increased budget brought six consecutive Dutch titles between 1982 and 1987.
In June 2005, Den Bosch merged with Eiffel Towers Nijmegen to form Eiffel Towers Den Bosch.
Following the merger, the club had one of the richest budgets in the Netherlands and could therefore afford to hire good players. In their first season they immediately won the Dutch league title. The following year the Eiffeltowers Bosch repeated their success by defeating the Matrixx Magixx in the final, after losing only four games in the regular season.
In the next two years, Den Bosch reached the final, but lost twice to Amsterdam.
In 2012, Eiffel Towers won its 15th Dutch Championship after beating ZZ Leiden.
After 13 years of playing with the Eiffel Towers, the club changed its name to SPM Shoeters in 2013. Along with the name change, the club changed the team’s colors to black, after playing in red since 2000.
In the 2014-15 season, Shoeters reached their sixteenth DBL championship by winning in the final against Donar Groeningen. The team also performed excellently in the Eurochallenge of that season, reaching the Top 16.
At the end of the 2015-16 season, the Shoeters faced serious financial problems that brought the team to the brink of bankruptcy.
In October 2016, the team was acquired by Triple Double BV, a sports marketing firm and renamed New Heroes Basketball.
In its first season as New Heroes, the club finished fourth in the DBL and was overwhelmed by Donar in the semifinals.
On August 21, 2019, the club definitively changed its name to Heroes Den Bosch.
The team plays its home games in Maaspoort, a 3.500-seat arena.
