Il B.K.Levski Sofia, è una società cestistica fondata nel 1923, parte della polisportiva omonima e
attiva sia nel settore femminile che nel settore maschile.
Il Levski è una delle squadre più titolate della nazione: può vantare diciannove titoli del campionato bulgaro (Natsionalsna Basketbolna Liga o NBL), quattordici Coppe di Bulgaria e due Supercoppe di Bulgaria in campo maschile e otto campionati e tredici Coppe di Bulgaria in campo femminile.
In campo internazionale ha vinto una EuroLeague nel 1984, due EuroCup (allora denominata Coppa Ronchetti) nel 1978 e 1979 con la squadra femminile e tre Leghe balcaniche, nel 2010, 2014 e 2018, con la squadra maschile.
Nel 2018, Lukoil, secondo gruppo non statale russo, che si occupa dell’estrazione di gas naturale e petrolio, ha annunciato il suo accordo di sponsorizzazione con Levski, di conseguenza, il nuovo nome del club è Levski Lukoil.
Le partite casalinghe vengono disputate presso l'Universiade Hall di Sofia (4.000 posti).

B.K.Levski Sofia, is a basketball club founded in 1923, part of the sports club of the same name and active in both the female and male sectors.
Levski is one of the most successful teams in the nation: it can boast nineteen titles of the Bulgarian league (Natsionalsna Basketbolna Liga or NBL), fourteen Bulgarian Cups and two Bulgarian Super Cups in the men’s field and eight championships and thirteen Bulgarian Cups in the women’s field.
In the international field Levski won a Euroleague in 1984, two Eurocups (then called Coppa Ronchetti) in 1978 and 1979 with the female team and three Balkan Leagues, in 2010, 2014 and 2018, with the men’s team.
In 2018, Lukoil, the second Russian non-state group, which deals with the extraction of natural gas and oil, announced its sponsorship agreement with Levski, therefore, the new name of the club is Levski Lukoil.
Home matches are played at the Universiade Hall in Sofia (4.000 seats).
