Il Paris Basketball è nato nel 2018, iscrivendosi direttamente alla Pro B, secondo campionato francese, avendo rilevato i diritti dell’HTV Basket, squadra della città di Tolone.
Il progetto è partito da un’idea di David Kahn, ex direttore dei Minnesota Timberwolves e punta a portare il team nell’elite del campionato nazionale e dell’Eurolega.
Raggiungendo il secondo posto nel campionato 2020/21 la squadra è stata promossa nella massima serie.
Disputa le partite interne nell'Halle George Carpentier (5.000 posti) ma la nuova casa della squadra sarà l'Arena Alice Millet, attualmente in costruzione nella zona di Porte de la Chapelle.
Il palazzetto, che sarà terminato nel 2023, potrà contenere 8.000 spettatori, e verrà utilizzato anche per le competizioni di alcune discipline nelle Olimpiadi che si terranno nella capitale francese nel 2024.

Paris Basketball was born in 2018, entering directly in Pro B, the second French league, having acquired the rights of HTV Basketball, the city of Toulon.
The project started with an idea by David Kahn, former director of the Minnesota Timberwolves and aims to bring the team into the elite of the national championship and the Euroleague.
Reaching the second place in the 2020/21 championship the team was promoted to the top flight.
Home games are played in the Halle George Carpentier (5.000 seats) but the new seat of the team will be the Arena Alice Millet, currently under construction in the area of Porte de la Chapelle.
The arena, which will be finished in 2023, will hold 8.000 spectators, and will also be used for competitions in some disciplines in the Olympics to be held in the French capital in 2024.
