Spirou Charleroi, comunemente noto semplicemente come Spirou, è un club di basket professionista belga che si trova a Charleroi, quarta città del belgio, già famosa per le sue miniere di carbone.
Fondato nel 1989, il team prende il nome dalla rivista di fumetti belga lunga data Spirou.
Spirou Charleroi è una delle squadre più titolate del paese: ha vinto dieci volte il campionato belga (1996-99, 2003, 2004, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011), cinque volte la Coppa del Belgio (1996, 1999, 2002, 2003, 2009) e sette la Supercoppa Belga (1996, 1997, 1999, 2001, 2002, 2008, 2010).
Nella stagione 2010-11, Spirou ha fatto il suo debutto in Eurolega, il massimo campionato continentale, in cui anche nella stagione successiva, Spirou ha giocato la fase regolare per la seconda volta consecutiva.
Il club gareggia nella BNXT League, il campionato creato all’inizio della stagione 2021-22 con le squadre di Belgio e Olanda.
L'arena di casa del club è lo Spiroudome che può ospitare 6.300 persone e dove si tengono anche incontri di tennis, conferenze ed eventi.

Spirou Charleroi, commonly known simply as Spirou, is a Belgian professional basketball club located in Charleroi, Belgium’s fourth city, already famous for its coal mines.
Founded in 1989, the team is named after the long-running Belgian comic book magazine Spirou.
Spirou Charleroi is one of the most successful teams in the country: it has won ten times the Belgian Championship (1996-99, 2003, 2004, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011), five times the Belgian Cup (1996, 1999, 2002, 2003, 2009) and seven times the Belgian Supercup (1996, 1997, 1999, 2001, 2002, 2008, 2010).
In the 2010-11 season, Spirou made his Euroleague debut, the largest continental league, in which also in the following season, Spirou played the regular stage for the second consecutive time.
The club competes in the BNXT League, the league created at the start of the 2021-22 season with teams from Belgium and the Netherlands.
The home arena of the club is the Spiroudome which can accommodate 6.300 people and where tennis meetings, conferences and events are also held.
