L'Orléans Loiret Basket è nata nel 1993 dall'unione delle squadre di Orleans, Fleury-les Aubrais e Saint-Jean-de-Braye e fino al 2010 era conosciuta come Entente orléanaise 45 Loiret (45 è il numero del dipartimento).
Si tratta di una squadra relativamente giovane che ha partecipato, a fasi alterne, ai campionati di Pro A e B, con l'annata migliore nel 2009, culminata con la vittoria nella Coppa di Francia e la partecipazione alle qualificazioni per l’Eurolega.
Le partite casalinghe si disputano nel Palais des Sports d’ Orleans (3.200 posti).

Orléans Loiret Basket was born in 1993 by the union of the three teams Orleans, Fleury-les Aubrais and Saint-Jean-de-Braye and it was known, until 2010 as Entente orléanaise 45 Loiret (45 is the department number ).
It is a relatively new team that has taken part, on and off, in the Pro A and B championships, having the best year in 2009, culminated in victory of the French Cup and the Euroleague qualification round.
Home games are played in Palais des Sports d’Orleans (3.200 seats).
