Il Limoges Cercle Saint-Pierre, noto semplicemente come Limoges CSP, è l'unica squadra di pallacanestro francese ad aver conquistato l'Eurolega .
Se il 1929 è l’anno di nascita del Limoges Cercle Saint-Pierre, patronato della parrocchia di Saint Pierre du Queyroix, solo nel 1933 il club disputa la prima partita ufficiale della sua storia.
Dopo i primi titoli dipartimentali e regionali, il dopoguerra segna una svolta nella storia del club, con l’ingresso di dirigenti che la portano a crescere fino ad arrivare, nel 1978 alla prima partecipazione al campionato di Pro A.
Nel 1981 viene inaugurato il Palais des Sports de Beaublanc (5.500 posti), ancora oggi casa del club ed ha inizio una lunga serie di successi in patria (undici titoli nazionali e tre coppe di Francia) fino ad arrivare all'apice con la vittoria in Coppa dei Campioni nel 1993, sconfiggendo in finale la Benetton Treviso.
All’inizio degli anni 2000 la squadrà subisce una retrocessione sul campo e, a seguire, altre per problemi economici, arrivando fino al fallimento e ripartendo dalle serie minori con il nome di Limoges CSP Élite, per riprendere nel 2012 la denominazione attuale.

Limoges Cercle Saint-Pierre, simply known as Limoges CSP, is the only French basketball team to have won the Euroleague.
If 1929 is the year of birth of the Limoges Cercle Saint-Pierre, patronage of the parish of Saint Pierre du Queyroix, only in 1933 the club plays the first official game of its history.
After the first departmental and regional titles, the postwar period marks a turning point in the history of the club, with the entry of managers that lead it to grow until reaching, in 1978, the first participation in the championship of Pro A.
In 1981 the Palais des Sports de Beaublanc (5.500 seats), still today home to the club, was inaugurated and a long series of successes at home (eleven national titles and three French Cups) until reaching its peak with the victory in the Champions Cup in 1993, defeating Benetton Treviso in the final.
At the beginning of the 2000s the team suffered a relegation on the field and, after that, others for economic problems, up to bankruptcy and starting again from the minor series under the name of Limoges CSP Élite, to resume in 2012 the current name.
