Il Metropolitans 92 (conosciuto in precedenza anche come Paris-Levallois Basket o Levallois Metropolitans) è nato nel 2007 dalla fusione tra Paris Basket Racing e Levallois Sporting Club Basket e ha mantenuto tutti i titoli precedentemente conquistati dalle due compagini.
Nonostante l'inizio nella prima serie, l'LNB Pro A, la squadra è stata retrocessa nella LNB Pro B, dopo essere arrivata penultima nella stagione 2007-08. Il club è tornato alla Pro A immediatamente, conquistando la promozione nella stagione 2008-09. Da allora il club gioca nella massima serie del basket francese.
Il 5 luglio 2017 il consiglio di amministrazione del club ha deciso di cambiare il nome del club in Levallois Metropolitans e l'ex giocatore NBA Boris Diaw stato annunciato come nuovo presidente del club, succedendo a Jean-Pierre Aubry.
I Metropolitans 92 giocano le loro partite casalinghe nel Palais des Sports Marcel Cerdan (4.000 posti).

The Metropolitans 92 (firstly known as Paris-Levallois Basket or Levallois Metropolitans) was born in 2007 from the merger between Paris Basket Racing and Levallois Sporting Club Basket and has kept all the titles previously conquered by the two teams.
Despite the beginning in the first serie, the LNB Pro A, Metropolitans was demoted to LNB Pro B after having arrived second to last in the season 2007-08.
The club immediately came back in the Pro A in the season 2008-09 and since then it is still in the first French division.
On 5th July 2017 the club management board has decided to change the club name in Levallois Metropolitans and the former NBA player Boris Diaw was announced as new president, following Jean-Pierre Aubry.
The Metropolitans 92 play their home games in teh Palais des Sports Marcel Cerdan (4.000 places).
