Hapoel Holon Basketball Club noto per motivi di sponsorizzazione come Hapoel UNET Holon ( הפועל UNET חולון ) è un club di basket professionistico con sede a Holon, città ad una decina di chilometri a sud di Tel Aviv.
La squadra gioca nella Israeli Basketball Premier League (il massimo livello del basket israeliano) e a livello internazionale nella Basketball Champions League.
Il club è stato creato nel 1947 ed è stato uno dei club fondatori della massima divisione nazionale nel 1954, arrivando secondo al termine della prima stagione.
Holon è tornato nella massima divisione alla fine della stagione 2006/07 dopo aver giocato per sette anni nella seconda e terza divisione. Ha concluso la stagione successiva in vetta alla classifica e raggiunto la finale dei playoff, dove ha sorprendentemente sconfitto il Maccabi Tel Aviv 73-72 conquistando il suo primo campionato, con Malik Dixon che ha segnato il tiro vincente a due secondi dalla fine del match.
Un altro giocatore americano di Holon, PJ Tucker, ha vinto il titolo di MVP. Si è trattata della prima sconfitta del Maccabi Tel Aviv in campionato in quattordici anni.
Il club ha raggiunto la finale della Coppa di Stato sei volte, senza mai però vincere la competizione fino al 2009, quando Brian Tolbert ha segnato una tripla allo scadere del tempo, garantendo la vittoria per 69-68 sul Maccabi Haifa.
Il 16 gennaio 2010, il club ha festeggiato la sua millesima partita nella Ligat HaAl.
Nel 2018, Holon ha vinto la sua seconda Coppa di Stato dopo battendo in finale il Maccabi Tel Aviv,e vedendo l’americano Glen Rice Jr. nominato MVP del match.
L'Hapoel Holon ha poi raggiunto il suo primo titolo internazionale nel 2021 battendo la squadra bulgara dell’Academic Plovdiv e trionfando nella Balkan International Basketball League.
Dal 1953 al 2015, l'Hapoel Holon ha giocato le partite casalinghe nel Palazzetto 1Maggio, noto anche come "palazzo di latta" per via della costruzione tutta in ferro. Fu inaugurato il 5° Giorno dell'Indipendenza dello Stato di Israele, nel 1953, in una partita contro l'Hapoel Tel Aviv, in cui Holon vinse 41-38. L’arena è stata la prima nel paese ad avere un'illuminazione che permetteva di giocare in notturna.
A causa della sua ridotta capacità (2.800 posti a sedere), l’arena è stata ritenuta inadatta per ospitare le partite del campionato israeliano e nel 2012 è iniziata la costruzione di un nuovo palazzetto a Park Peres, un’area ricreativa fuori dalla città: la Holon Toto Hall, dal nome di Ofer Eshed, un iconico giocatore dell'Hapoel Holon del passato, terminata nel 2015 può ospitare 5.500 spettatori.

Hapoel Holon Basketball Club ( in ebraico : מועדון הכדורסל הפועל חולון ) know as Hapoel UNET Holon for sponsor reasons ( הפועל UNET חולון ) is a pro basketball club located in Holon, about ten kilometers south from TelAviv.
The team plays in the Israeli Basketball Premier League (the highest level of Israeli basketball) and internationally in the Basketball Champions League.
The club was created in 1947 and was one of the founding clubs of the top division in 1954, coming second at the end of the first season.
Holon returned to the top division at the end of the 2006/07 season after playing for seven years in the second and third divisions. It finished the following season at the top of the standings and reached the final of the playoffs, where surprisingly defeated Maccabi Tel Aviv 73-72 to win its first championship, with Malik Dixon scoring the winning shot two seconds from the end of the match.
Another American Holon player, PJ Tucker, won the MVP title. This was Maccabi Tel Aviv’s first league defeat in 14 years.
The club reached the State Cup final six times, but never won the competition until 2009, when Brian Tolbert scored a triple at the end of the time, securing a 69-68 win over Maccabi Haifa.

From 1953 to 2015, Hapoel Holon played its home games in the 1 May Hall, also known as the "tin palace" because of the all-iron construction. It was inaugurated on the 5th Independence Day of the State of Israel, in 1953, in a match against Hapoel Tel Aviv, in which Holon won 41-38. The arena was the first in the country to have a lighting that allowed to play at night.
Due to its reduced capacity (2.800 seats), the arena was deemed unsuitable for hosting Israeli Championship matches and in 2012 construction began on a new arena in Park Peres, a recreation area outside the city: The Holon Toto Hall, named after Ofer Eshed, an iconic Hapoel Holon player of the past, finished in 2015 can accommodate 5.500 spectators.
