L'Association sportive de Monaco Basket ha sede a Fontvieille, nel Principato di Monaco, e fa parte del club polisportivo AS Monaco, fondato nel 1924.
La sezione basket nacque nel 1928 e passò gli anni con alterne fortune tra il primo ed il secondo campionato francese e sporadiche apparizioni nelle coppe continentali.
Nel 2015 l'uomo d'affari e filantropo ucraino Sergey Dyadechko è divenuto presidente dell'AS Monaco Basket e nell’anno successivo è arrivata la vittoria nella coppa di Francia.
Nel 2017 il fondo di beneficenza DSF, creato dal proprietario del club, Dyadechko, è diventato sponsor dell'AS Monaco Basket.
Nella stagione 2020-2021 ha vinto l’Eurocup e nella stagione 2021-2022 parteciperà all ‘Eurolega, giocando le partite casalinghe alla Azul Arena di Antibes (5.200 posti) mentre in campionato si disputano alla Salle Gaston Medecin (3.000 posti).

The Association sportive de Monaco Basket is located in Fontvieille, in the Principality of Monaco, and is part of the AS Monaco sports club, founded in 1924.
The basket section was born in 1928 and spent the years through mixed success and sporadic appaerances in the continental cups.
In 2015 the Ukrainian businessman and philantropist Sergey Dyadechko has become president of AS Monaco Basket and the following year the team has reached the victory in the Leaders Cup.
In 2017 the DSF charity fund, created by the club owner Dyadechko, has become AS Monaco Basket sponsor.
In 2021 Monaco has won the Eurocup and in the coming season 2021-22 will be taking part at the Euroleague, playing the home games at the Azul Arena in Antibes (5.200 places) while the French championship matches are held at the Salle Gaston Medecin (3.000 places).
