Tyngsborough, Ma - Jr Drew Stone open the scoring for the Crusaders
in the 31st minute when the ball was intercepted and played wide to FR Chase Herberich who broke to the end line and crossed it to Stone for the simple near post finish. Tyngsborough Ben Shade almost made it even before the half but shot over the crossbar. In the 2nd stanza Sr. Dean Tornaritis stole the ball back and penetrated through the Tiger defense and hit a low rocket to the low far post for the 2-0 lead. FR Simon Chandler rounded out the scoring from a cross from Sr Matt Warren with 8 minutes to play. The Crusaders received great play from SR. Joey Zinkann, SR Brian Bonnett, SR Nate Martinez and SR Ian Peterson. Tyngsborough fall to 0-1 while the Crusader improve to 1-0. GD host Wachusett on Thursday at 4pm.
