Kelleher Stadium, Marlboro - Panther Substitute Dirk Bellido scored the late tallie with just 4:40 seconds remaining in regulation off a rebound from a corner kick that beat Crusader keeper Jamie Bailey to lift the Panthers of Marlboro to a 1-0 victory in Midland B league play. As the game got physical in the 2nd stanza both teams had chances for a game winner, GD's Matt Krikorian had a great chance with 15 minutes remaining but missed the shot far post. GD received great play from Ryan Hardy, Patrick Keating, Matt Straw and Tyler Belanger. Marlboro improve to 5-2-1 overall and 2-0-1 in League play. GD fall to 4-3-2 overall and 2-2 in league play. GD travel to Dracut Saturday for a 2:30pm kickoff in a no league match.
