Kelleher Field, Marlboro, MA – Groton Dunstable Sr. forward Kyle Romich scored twice with his head and Jr. forward Nate Pomeroy scored on a breakaway as the Crusaders edged Marlboro 3-1 in Mid Wach B League Action. Sr. Midfielder Chris Mckinney had two assists for the Crusaders who improve to 7-0-0 overall and 5-0-0 in League play. Marlboro drop to 5-2 overall and 3-2 in league play. GD received great play from Jr defender Adam Kmetz and Sr back Jake lilidahl. Today’s MVP goes to Peter Ellerkamp for his overall play at central back! GD travel to North Middlesex for a showdown with the Patriots (3-2-2) at 5pm on Thursday 9/29.
