JV Come up Short

Groton MA - The JV Boys soccer team lost a hard fought battle with Westboro on Monday afternoon. The 2-0 loss sends the team back to .500 at 3-3 on the season. The crusaders mounted strong attacks in the second half with great shots by Mitch Wheeler, Matt Krikorian and Tony Roufos. Also playing well for GD were, Goal Keeper, Eric Yanchenko, Defense Jacob Rice, and Gabe Dingle. Scoring: Westboro 7:00 Westboro 20:00 Next game is Thursday 4:00 at Quabbin Regional HS
