Groton, Ma - Sr. Matt Krikorian scored in the first half and twice in the 2nd stanza to lead the Crusaders to a 6-0 victory over the Patriots of North Middlesex. GD got on top in 19th minute when Andy Karasevich redirected a corner kick to Drew Stone who touch it in. Krikorian scored on a breakaway in the 30th minute from a great feed from Michael Ho. Matt Warren converted from the spot just 9 minutes into the 2nd half for the 3-0 lead. Dean Tornaritis made it 4-0 when Krikorian sent him in alone and he slipped it past the NM Keeper. In the 66th minute Krikorian struck again when Mitch Wheeler sent him in alone. Then Krikorian finished from the spot for the hatrick and the 6-0 win. NM fall to 0-9-1 overall and 0-4-1 in Midland B league play. GD received great play from Jason Pang, Joey Zinkann, Eric Niemoller and Dan Flynn. GD improve to 7-1-3 overall and 3-1-1 in Midland B league play. #3 GD host #1 Algonquin on Tuesday 10/13 at 4pm.
