Dracut, MA – Groton Dunstable Jr. Nate Pomeroy opened the scoring just 6:24 into the contest when he broke in alone from a Kyle Romich pass as the Crusaders jumped on top 1-0. In the 25^th minute Kyle Romich finished an empty net as the ball bounced over Middie keeper Zach Bogacz and the Crusaders took a 2-0 lead into halftime. Dracut’s Mario Prata converted a penalty kick to draw things back to 2-1 and Travis Reagan drew things even on a header off a corner kick six minutes from the end and the game ended in a 2-2 draw. Dracut improve to 8-3-2 overall and GD improve to 12-0-1 overall and host Marlboro on Tuesday at 4pm.
