Groton Dunstable Varsity Boys Soccer Opens Season with 1-1 Draw vs Sutton HS
Groton, MA 9/7/13 - Crusader Sophomore Gabe Dingle scored to draw things even for the Crusaders in the 27th minute on a blast that beat Sutton keeper Cole Acocelli to the far post as Groton Dunstable Boys Soccer opens the season with a 1-1 draw. Today's game was a match up of the Defending Div 2(GD) and Defending Div 3 (Sutton) state champions. Sutton got out front early when Sr. Reilly Steele hit a direct kick over the wall that alluded GD keeper Jamie Bailey as the Sammie's jumped out front in the 14th minute. Both teams had good chances through out the contest but neither team could find a game winner late. GD received great play from Tim Hilbrunner, Dan McGuinness, Tyler Poitras and Matt Krikorian. GD improve to 0-0-1 and will travel Tuesday to play at Nashoba Regional at 4PM while Sutton improved to 2-0-1 on the early season.

9/4/13 GD Freshman VS Westford Academy
Game Update
The Freshman Boys got off to a great start defeating Westford Academy with 4-0 victory. The Freshman team took the first step to achieving the team goal of 9 wins throughout the season. The Freshman would like to thank the Varsity team for coming down to watch and cheer them on.
